Is it possible to suck in the line with the EZ380 Pull Line Blower?

No, that is not possible. The risk of water being sucked in unintentionally is too high. This would inevitably lead to the destruction of the turbines. To prevent such damage and to ensure the longevity of your EZ380, we have deliberately decided against this option.

What electrical connection data does the EZ380 require?

The EZ380 is available in 2 voltage options:

  • 230 Volt / 50 Hz – protected by a 16 Ampere
  • 115 Volt / 60 Hz – protected by a 32 Ampere
Why are the rope guides available in brass and hardened steel versions?

The brass version is suitable exclusively for blowing in cords and ropes.
The hardened steel rope guides are specifically designed for blowing in steel ropes.

What should be considered to ensure optimum performance when using the front attachment with side channel?

To ensure optimum performance of the pull line blower when using the head piece with side channel, make sure that the front attachment matches the pipe size and that the rope guide used corresponds to the diameter of the cord or rope.

Can the head piece with the side channel be attached to the air hose?

Yes, the attachment can be mounted directly on the device or on the air hose.

Can an existing EZ380 be upgraded by mounting a front attachment with a side channel?

Yes, the front attachments compatible with the EZ380—Ø 140 mm, Ø 200 mm, and Ø 320 mm—are available as accessories and can be ordered at any time.

Which front attachments with integrated side channel are available for the EZ380?

All three available head pieces with side channel—Ø 140 mm, Ø 200 mm, and Ø 320 mm—can be used with the EZ380 string blower.

What are the advantages of the head piece with integrated side channel?

This attachment allows the cord to be easily removed after the blowing process without having to cut it.
This offers clear advantages in use and also results in cost savings, as the cord can be reused.
In addition, the side-channel attachments, when used in combination with the separable, hardened rope guides, can also be used for blowing steel cables.

What power supply is recommended for Zeitler Pull Line Blowers?

For mobile operation of our electric cord blowers, we recommend a high-performance inverter generator that ensures a stable power supply.
EZ50 and EZ100 - at least 2000 W
EZ380 - at least 3000 W

Can I operate the electric string blowing machines without a mains power connection?

Yes. In combination with a suitable generator or a portable battery power station, our pull line blowers can be operated independently of the mains power supply.
For mobile applications, we recommend, for example, the Instagrid battery power pack.

Which cords can be blown in with the EZ380?

The EZ380 cord blowing device is suitable for cords with a diameter of 1 mm to 5 mm, optionally 8 mm.

For which pipe diameters is the EZ380 suitable?

The cord blowing device can be used for cable protection conduits with an internal diameter of 25 mm to 300 mm (1″-12″).

What distinguishes the EZ380 from the EZ100 / EZ300?

The EZ380 cord injector has a larger application range - inner pipe diameter from 25mm to 300mm / 1″-12″ (EZ100 - 25 to 150mm / EZ300 - 50 to 200mm)
